Should it be considered a duck?

It's not often you see it come up, but I am always suspicious when a fighter backs out of a fight citing injury with about 2 weeks to go. At that point in the majority of camps the heavy sparring has tapered off and that point is literally to ensure the fighter doesn't get hurt.

Some examples are Keith vs Tim and Errol vs Pacquiao.

Both of these seemed fishy to me. What would you think the % of real injury versus fake injury would be for a fighter to pull out that late?

I think you would need actual evidence and not just vibes to prove if something is a duck or not.

Injuries happen all the time, too many on here lean into conspiracy BS, if a fighter wants to duck a fight they simply don't make the fight, they don't spend ten's of thousands of dollars on a training camp, spend time away from friends and family to just set up some elaborate duck.

I am pretty comfortable thinking Thurman has a legitimate injury.
