As a professional sportsperson you should be willing to participate in any drug testing that is requested of you...:yep

I think this whole thing with PBF and Pac Man is snowballing into something silly... It is pure top spin to sell this fight and make it bigger and bigger...

If Taylor asked for the tests to be done then Ward should do them, its that simple. I have a feeling that most fighters would have a problem with the testing being that many have already gone though it as amatuers. Now a dirty fighter on the other hand will protest strongly. The thing is even if your not dirty you should fight this so hard, it leaves the appearance that you are.

The contract is already signed. Too late! But with the Balco story(Ward), that would have been a good idea.

well conte's statement implied that truly random testing (unlike in the olympics where u can get around the randomness of it) would catch 'dopers' but you have a point in that if he's saying this he probably knows a way to beat even truly random testing

No, the sport, ie the athletic commissions and sanctioning bodies, should now take action and invoke a more strenuous PED testing procedure. It shouldn't be left up to the fighters to negotiate testing on a fight by fight basis.

Let's just say that after being so amazed with Ward's improvement in speed and power compared to the Miranda fight, when I found out that Andre is actually using a well-known steroid supplier (who says he's 'clean') for suppliments said to be perfectly legal, I lost every bit of respect for Dre. Victor Conte provided untracable illegal substance EPO for Shane Mosley, also for Olympians who passed the infamous Olympic stlye drug testing, this guy is an ARTIST in his game. So why the flying **** would anyone use his services (said to be perfectly legal) if he's reputation is "steroid supplier", and was JAILED for supplying athletes with illegal substances? Actually it never became public that Ward and Chambers use Conte suppliments until L.A. Times came out with the story.

I'm far from even suggesting anything, **** accusations. But seeing Manny Pacquiao (not accociated with a well-known steroid supplier or anything), getting all the heat and false accusations, and Conte's clients not getting any heat for using Victor Conte's services (also the media completely ignores the news but many writers question PacMan) it's quite stunning and downright disgusting.

I'd ask for head gear myself. Well, for two reasons.

I remember an interview with one of the old East German athletes strongly denying taking steroids. Did admit to taking lots of 'vitamins' though. So you do bring up a good point. Could it be a version of the "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy?

If he wants to he can try, but the problem is the contracts are already signed. Who wouldn't want better drug testing for every fight? After reading through the comments, I think I know where this is going, but I'll pretend there's no racial sentiments involved.

Nothing really. It's just a cheap way to insert racism/nationalism into the conversation. A lot of people on this forum can't seem restrain themselves from constantly bringing that **** up.
