I agree. Was and is always up for taking on the biggest challenges. This should be admired even if he fell short on a few occassions. I would most deffinately like to see him retire before he picks up an injury he can't run off.

Having said all this ward is not a big puncher and he might do well in that fight. If by round 6 or 7 he is not ahead though, his corner should pull him out.

He was a good Champion and a man to be respected.

 

Although i still think he could pick up a belt at LHW maybe, and i believe he can still redeem himself, I dont want to see the guy hurt like that again. He should retire and enjoy his life.

 

Do you mean the Froch fight? He was barely in the Abraham fight and would have lost a wide UD.

 

I think he does mean the froch fight. Although I did have JT losing I had it closer than the judges.

 

He should retire to avoid further embarrasment in the future

 

I think he is a class act and good for boxing. I would hate to see him retire with the last few fights going the way they did.

 

Better that than him getting seriously hurt. Which given his last 5 fights is a realistic possability as it is for any fighter.

Actually watched documentaries on both mclellan and watson last night. Trust me after watching those you would want him to retire.
