Same here. However I do not hate him as much as you do though. A piece of me still roots for him. However I'd be happy when he loses to Oscar. All this hype would go down. Imagine, I have this one neighbor who got into the Pac hype that he said it might be possible that Pac could knock down Wladimir Klitschko. WTF. Whatever that dude was smoking, he needed to stop that.
Just curious, but has Hopkins fought anyplace other than his backyard? I don't mean that in a smartass way, I'm serious, has he ever fought outside of the US?
Give him a pat on the back. At least he knows Wlad. I am so used to these idiot neighbors. One time some dude brought up Tyson vs Pac and he was discussing it with all the seriousness in the world. It was ****ing funny to say the least.
He doesnt know Wlad, he just saw his name on Yahoo sports. Tyson vs Pac in a serious manner?:rofl:rofl:rofl I dont know what to say
I've not seen that footage, so I can't comment, but whenever I've seen Marquez being interviewed he always come across as being a nice guy.
Yes. It was hilarious. I thought the guy had at least some minute form of boxing knowledge because he was discussing the possibility of a Hatton-Pac fight. So I said to myself, 'Hey, this guy knows a bit'. But then the discussion eventually rolls on to Ali, then to Tyson, and his mythical matchup with Pac. To his credit he eventually conceded Tyson would be too much for Pac. 'Masyadong malakas (too strong)', he said. I was trying my damn hardest to keep myself from bursting out laughing.
If he burnt down the flag of PR then that was a dick move on his part. However, I do not seem to affected by this because Im not Puerto Rican. The issue with JMM affects me more since Im Filipino. But if Hops did that, in the eyes of most then it is worse.
Absolutely. This would finally give us an undisputed lightweight champion - by merging the linear title with three of the major belts.
