He should defend against Caterall in Edinburgh castle, vacate and move up to 147 and have a few acclimatizing to the weight fights up there before facing Crawford because the later is much heavier than on fight night than him and has six fights at the weight.

When Crawford moved up in weight to 140 and 147 he still had a significant weight advantage over some career fighters at those weights or weighed about the same as them and has rarely been the lighter man and he's never once been at a reach disadvantage in any of his world title fights with that huge 74'' reach of his

In fact, he was coming in as high as 153 down at 135 whereas I doubt Taylor even weighed that much against JCR the other week and Crawford was coming in as high as 157 at 140 and is obviously coming in a lot heavier now

Taylor has a 69½'' reach whereas Crawford has a 74'' reach

When Crawford moved up to 140 he fought Dulorme, Jean, and Lundy in his first three fights at the weight

And when he moved up to 147 he fought Horn, peg-leg cripple Benavidez and shot Khan

    But Taylor wants Crawford

I think he should have a few fights first before chasing Crawford, let the fight build up to be a clash of two titans. He deserves a few easy paydays as well. Would love to see the Lopez fight made as that would be a big seller.

Zepeda would be a good fight and is mandatory to his WBC belt.

    If he's a risk taker ????

The fact that Taylor has taken all those unbeaten records answers that question without doubt.

He has already achieved greatness whether he beats Crawford or not.
