No... not yet. I wont let him retire like this

Let Fury, Joyce, or Wilder take out the trash. As a boxing fan i want to see aj get KO'd and sent into irrelevancy. Then he can retire

Nah let him fight. There is too much pressure on him. He got gift decisions in the olympics and people tend to overlook him.

He will most likely lose if he fights Fury, Joyce or Wilder. But AJ has punchers chance so you never know

    No, he should not retire.

There are several big fights he could be in during the next year. I just hope it's Joyce or Wilder next and not Whyte.

I think he's finished as a champion but he's got plenty paydays ahead vs guys like Franklin.

He is past the denial phase that he experienced against Usyk. He delayed it by beating Ruiz in the rematch.

He is now in the acceptance phase of knowing in his heart and head that he isn't the TOP G, hell he is the #5 heavyweight. FIVE!

You could see it on his face during the fight and after...

It's kind of sad really the only thing left for him and Hearn is to sellout and get chinned by Fury. A lamb to the slaughter.

Atleast when Whyte fought Franklin he was clearly holding back, he was pulling most of his punches. AJ is defeated.

Not really, his popularity is tapering off, probably more so after tonight. He won't keep getting these 'comeback' fights, he has to beat someone of note eventually.

You watch him beat Whyte next and demand another title fight. Joyce should be ahead of him but he'll duck him and claim he's the man.

    Dear god.

    In this division, you have...

    Usyk. Yup, better than Joshua.

Fury. Afraid to fight anyone other than Chisora or Ngannou. Physically at the end due to years of overeating, alcoholism, and drug use.

Wilder. Beaten by Fury thrice. A career fraud who is generally acknowledged to have been in at least one fixed fight (I think several more). Everyone is now high on him because he beat...wait for it...Robert Helenius!

Joyce. We all love the guy but he is 37 years old.

Dubois- biggest fraud I have ever seen. Untalented muscleman.

Hrgovic- this guy does not have a single exceptional quality, and looks to be half asleep most of the time. Should have a loss to Zhang.

Ruiz- yeah, is 1-1 with AJ, but will never be the same after ballooning up to 287 pounds and having to loose that weight.

AND THESE ARE THE FIRST TIER!

Aj has a long, long career ahead of him if he wants it. Outside of Usyk, he has a chance against any of them.

Should Ali have retired after losing to Norton ?
Should Duran have retired after quitting against Leonard ?
Should Wlad have retired after losing to Sanders ?

    And those guys all lost.

He's still a top ten, maybe a top five, with at least two decent years left.\
He could have four to six fights left.

    Why should he retire ?

No, he should get paid millions more to be spanked by fury or Wilder

Fury inside 8 or Wilder inside 3

I wonder if the other 4 top HWs are now looking at AJ as easy pickings.
