no catchweight, should GGG beat Ward, his win would be as tainted as Ward's over Chad Corpeson

"I'll be Heavyweight champion of the World by the age of 32"

    -Andre Ward

Somebody tell Andre he's running out of time, he has 8 months until he turns 32. He also said he would like to fight Klitschko.

Come now Alex. There are moments when u seem to talk sense.

But lately on the whole topic off GGG who got the whole haters blinders on.

A guy who started his PRO CAREER at the same weight he fought as an am.
He coulda done like CottHOE and started at LWW. OR BRADLEY. OR JCC JR.
OR maybe Kovalev could have bullied MW like Kenny Kost.

Eastern Europeans don't typically boil down to fight cans and build artificial records.

They man right up and fight bigger men. Sink or swim.

Froch fight pays and leads to DeGale And Groves and may be even calling smith.

Beating ward makes GGG the SMW boogeyman. With only a dirrel to be willing to avenge ward. That is if they're still cool.

At least the brits look to avenge their countrymen defeats

    I'm a fan of Golovkin.

I don't care what the fight leads to, it doesn't make sense to fight one man at the full limit and then the next at a catch weight. That's what I call "Selective Catchweighting" and it's only used to weaken the more skilled or dangerous fighter. Exactly what Cotto is currently doing and Floyd and Pac have done.

And Brits avenge their countrymen? Is there some kind of sacred bond? Who cares? Fighting Ward at 164 is not manning up and fighting bigger men. You need to toss that mindset of "Brits do this and Americans do this", that's ignorant.

Ignorant....Idk....I find it almost cool. They do seem to drive hard to either avenge or one up their countrymen. It's true and has been since I first started seeing them regularly in big boxing.

As for selective cws.....I see your point.

But beating ward at 168 leaves him chasing Kovalev and Beterbiev. And sadly I think that's how it's gonna end.

The career MW having to fight career LHW simply to keep getting big fights.
And that when we'll see him start looking vulnerable as well

Maybe you see something I don't on the "countrymen" point, and I disagree on Golovkin having to fight a light heavy, especially if he looks vulnerable at 168. I think 175 might be a stretch for him, despite his power.

When Mayweather uses the"A Side" argument, he is ducking or is scared.

When GGG uses the "A Side" argument, he's being smart etc.

GGG does not want to fight Ward, and it's really clear at this point.

You know you're such a piece of shyt rooting for the down fall of your own countryman. Don't worry you will be disappointing again like you were after your hero Bute was clobbered by Froch.

GGG said he would fight anyone 154-168...except Ward apparently. To be fair though Wards last fight wasnt at SMW.

    Ward is fighting tune ups.
GGG is not a tune up. Those are Virgil Hunter's own words.

I think Ward should move to 175 before Golovkin moves to 168, I just hate how people think Golovkin will fight anyone when he's just like the other top fighters in regards to business decisions. I also think it's hypocritical to fight Froch @ 168 but not Ward.

Bearing in mind that Golovkin didn't offer up 164, just someone on the internet. So nothing negative towards Golovkin on the subject.
