It was a good, quirky nickname when he was brutally Ko'ing foes, but in recent fights it makes his nickname a little suspect. Keith "sometimes" Thurman perhaps, what about keith "run time" Thurman, maybe Keith "need more than one time now i'm fighting better class of fighters" Thurman? This thread is just in jest, i like keith, especially when he lets his hands go, you can see he has the tools but in his last 3 or 4 fighst, he has became too cautious, a lot of running as well. i hope he fights more aggressively in some fights in the future. After all it was his selling point a few fights ago, he only needed one time, he was sold as a KO artist who was all about the KO's, KO's for life.
Here's a far superior version of your thread (authored by yours truly): http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=543168
I agree. If you are going to bill yourself as some monster puncher, you should not be flat out running from Luis Collazo
Sorry dude, did not know there was an identical thread made already. My bad. Nothing superior about yours though,. except being first. What is embarrassing is that i actually posted on yours, yet still made this thread, i guess it stuck in my brain and made me make the thread.
Keith could be a very good boxer/puncher but he newds to learn to move backwards and fight going backwards more not turning around and running out the way
That was a standard move Thurman made to evade a punch. I have seen most all fighter do the same move.
I haven't even played 2, hopefully they do an HD remake (or maybe I can find a PC emulator). Shenmue was one of my favorite games ever back on the Dreamcast.
Thurman is bored. He needs a big fight that will motivate him..Hes not sensing any fear in these guys anymore n he got caught slippin . Thurman needed that expiernce and to overcome adversity.Lesson learned . Now will prepare better
