Should Kell Brook still be fighting?

I recently saw that Kell Brook was linked to potential bouts with Danny Garcia and Amir Khan.

To me, Brook demonstrated in his fight with Crawford that he’s a shot fighter. His punch resistance is completely gone. The shot that Crawford initially hurt him with was a nice shot (some kind of hybrid jab), but by no means should have wobbled a fighter at that level.

Brook still probably has most of his faculties intact. What’s the sense in taking more punishment? If more fighters got out of the game once they reached the point Brook is at now, we’d have a lot more fighters maintaining their health in retirement.

Most of the damage has already been done. Pro boxers who reach a high level have been in brutal sparring wars since they were teenagers. This all must be paid for later in life. If anything, he should keep fighting for a fight or two to cash out and then retire. I'm not sure he and his team are completely set given his string of JoJo Dan fights and his out of ring activities.

Fight Khan and then ride off into the sunset (w/ a hot male holding him tightly on a horsie).

    Short answer: No.
    Long Answer: Noooooooooooooooooooooo.

GGG broke his face. Everyone else has added damage to that already weak area of his eye.

Its sucks that he can barely make 154 let alone 147 and if he moves north in any division hes massively outsized. Hes at the end of the road the only way is to get a good nutritionist that can help him lose some weight and do a better weight cut and try to fight a few guys at 47 n 54

Truth. Kell Brook was never the same after that fight. Although I'll say his offense was still decent for the Spence fight and even beyond. But he was still partially shot and continued to decline.

Nope, he's shot to bits, both his eye sockets are shot, his confidence is shot and his punch resistance is completely shot now too. Damn shame.

I think he physically still has it as he is not that old and has taken long breaks between fights. (Going back down to 147 bit him in the ass)
But his heart is no longer there.

Plus, how can you be at your best when you barely fight at all?

He should fight Khan and can it a day. Khan is feather fisted and he’s just as shot, so Kell can end his career with a nice payday and a victory.

If he's fighting current Sergio Martinez I'd say have at it.

No, but he has a family to feed. It's difficult. The thing is health is more important than anything but what will a guy like that do after boxing? The money runs out fast if not put to proper use. Hopefully, he still has a nest ££ there.

    The GGG fight destroyed him.

He has never been the same since then.

The Spence and Crawford losses were soft and wouldn’t have happened had he not been broken by GGG.
