Should Khan have faught Prescot?

Khan Vs. Prescot would be a mismatch, but it would probably sell, so yes, I would like to see that fight happen.

 

Tbh I prefer fights with Bradley/Judah instead of Prescott. He should of fought him in April.

If he fights and beats Prescott he shows the general public that his one loss was just a blip. It pretty much doesnt matter who he beats in the future he will likely be remembered for the BP fight by the man in the street. The only way to change it is to fight and beat him. That way he can actually show everyone that BP is irrelevant/no mark/shite/one hit wonder instead of us just assuming it.

 

Khan fought McCloskey cos it made more commercial sense aka £ notes ... Khan doesnt have to fight a guy that got putclassed against Mitchell.. Khan made a big mistake walking str8 onto Prescott nowadays he would be in and out for a comfortable points win . What does Prescott bring to the table when Khan is targetting Judah , Bradley , Guerro etc etc ... nothing IMO ...

 

If Khan fought Juan Manuel Marquez and won these ''he should fight Prescott'' lot would still be banging on about it.

more like its madness for khan and his team to get back in with the "career killer" that could be that fight for khan, i think khan would beat him but him an his team are scared of the same outcome as round 1 last time.

 

add to that the general british boxing fan i bet you 99% of them have never heard of judah, bradley etc.....they have all heard of prescott due to laying khan out, so the rematch with prescott instead of ****ing mccloskey would have made more sense and sold much more ppv....

Fighters lose all the time. This obsession with avenging losses is getting out of hand.

What's to say that Prescott would even fight him if Khan turned round and said ''right, let's do it' - if he lost to Khan, which he would, his career would be over. He just wants to carry on living off those 54 crazy seconds.

Scared? He's fought several better fighters, most of them are harder punchers than Prescott too.

It was a pretty unique set of circumstances that led to that defeat.... being severely drained, having a useless trainer and charging across the ring like a nutter - for starters.

Once people hear that Judah tested Floyd Mayweather the interest will easily overtake that of Prescott. Most people that would watch the fight also saw him being dominated by a domestic level Kevin Mitchell.
