nobody seems to care about pride anymore mate!!!!!

**** if i got sparked out in front of my home crowd in 54 seconds "twice" then i would not give a **** about money id do the rematch for free and id do it asap cos its not like the fight went the distance and the fighters needed 6 month to rest, which is ****ing bollocks imo the old day boys used to fight all the time for like 3000 rounds and ****...

if i was khan i would have said make the rematch now.....

but he never cos he **** himself, so did fwank and team khan.

if you cant see that then i dont know how the **** you have read the whole affair.....

pride in victory, and pride in trying to avenge a loss, even if you lose you showed that you believed you could win and put the wrong right!!:bbb

In the fullness of time, when people review Amir's record and see a KO by 1 Prescott (54 seconds) in there, with no rematch fought - they'll rightly ask questions.

    Why didn't he rematch?

Rebuttals like "Haye didn't rematch Carl Thompson" or "Maidana hit harder than Prescott" won't cut it.

I'm glad for Amir that he's got a unification fight against Judah, and hope that the winner of that matchup (surely Khan) gets the fight with Bradley, but pride should dictate he rematches Prescott, even if it is a 10 round non-title fight.

its not about hurting your career matey, its about personal pride and that nagging doubt.......

it hasnt hurt his career so far, but what if he had of faced prescott in a rematch and lost, which i dont think khan would have lost, but if he did loose then his career is ****ed before its begun.......

thats the way team khan an fwank seen it imo.

Still, if I was Haye I'd still have that nagging 'doubt' just like Khan must have. Maybe Carl Thompson just had Haye's number, it happens..... Haye's stamina has never been particularly good.

Why would anyone want to see the Prescott fight have you seen Prescott since? This makes as much sense as trying to get Khan to fight Thaxton or Murray because thats the fights ITV were pushing towards back then. Khan has outgrown Prescott he has left him behind. It's up to Prescott to make this fight happen now. The truth is it will not happen because Prescott isn't good enough to make the step up to even contender level.

prescott is not as good as khan now........

thats why they matched him in the first place........

    look what happened.

im not saying khan would lose now but they never thought he would lose in the first place.

So you don't agree with Lilo that not taking the rematch has stopped Khan being a PPV star?

You clapped his post saying that like a ****** on amphetamines....;)
