Should Khan jump straight to Welter weight and clean up?

We all know and respect that Amir Khan is a great talent and that he will be a definate pound for pound all time great. So should he stop wasting time at light weight where there are now fighters worthy of cementing reputation and jump straight into the mix at Welter weight. I know it will take a couple of fights before he will be in a position to fight Cotto and Mayweather so if he warms up against Cintron and Williams tand then defeats Cotto he will be in a position to fight PBF.

Khan could of course first defeat Casa or Nate then jump up to light welter and fight a top guy there but with his frame he will be more suited to destroy the competition at full Welter.

Khan as a chance to be the greatest fighter of his generation and with his mixture of power, speed, technique, strength, and skill he will be able to take on and beat anyone. His haters will state he has a dodgy chin but that his bollocks, just look at how he takes the clean punches from former world champion Gairy St Clair and world number 2 Martin Kristjansen, the kid is amazing.

Yeah I mean if he moves up now he will be on course for a fight with Mayweather - something he said he wanted to do within 5 years of turning pro.

Wheres the need to fight anyone of note at European level? We all know by watching training clips of him that hes far superior to any of those bums.

Casaymayor? Campbell? Please those guys are old enough to be his father(assuming they weren't late bloomers) no need for that. Couple of loss whores anyway. Amir Khan 147 Champ by 2010 woooo

Yeah im seriously bored also. Hurry up football!

Totally agree mate Gr8 work!!! I actually think he should bypass Welter and look at fighting Joe Calzaghe or Bernard Hopkins depending who is victorius. Tbh A stoppage against either of these guys will probably make him the greatest middleweight of our era additionally it will serve as a good warm-up for Vlad or Haye in October/November.

He could then take on the Big Show at Summer Slam.

Liverpool - Arsenal. I have a strong affection for Liverpool despite having no obvious link to them(aside from the strong Scottish influence on the clubs greatest ever sides)

As for who I support? Glasgow Celtic. Been a horrible year for me football fandom wise.

    What about yourself?

Jeff please. Those two are old enough to be Amirs grandad...he won't get any credit for beating up Calzaghe or Hopkins.

What he needs to do is take on Bad Chad Dawson. Battle of the young undefeated...the yanks will love it.

I'm a Watford fan but there is a deep undercurrent of hatred towards Arsenal in my family so I too will be hoping Liverpool dump the Frenchmen out.

I have to confess to having a soft spot for ManU but am by no means a supporter I just love watching them play. I'd love to see a Manu Liverpool final just for the pure spectacle of it.

Just feel that Dawsons not really proved himself yet. If he beats Glencoffe imppressively then maybe Khan will be interested...
