If anyone has a copy of the coverage from before Frank Warren doctored it, then please post it for us. We're looking for any of the following: *Referee holding Khan's gloves and telling him to get up. *Referee interupting the count. *Khan on the canvas as the count hits ten. *Khan down on the floor for 12 seconds. *Referee running to the neutral corner where Limond was standing and giving him a solid right footer in the nuts before giving a big thumbs up to Frank Warren and holding up a bag with a dollar sign on it. Help fight back, don't let Frank win! Unfortunately the existing videos seem to come from the live coverage so it's looking likely that Frank actually doctored the live show. Maybe someone who was at the fight has video from a phone or something that could expose the truth? Also Fluxstuff is still looking for a link to the rules governing ko's, can anyone help?
Amir Khan will end Limonds career... Willie Limond is dominated in every department..the only chance he has..is a one punch "Power Punch". Amir Khan is faster.. Amir Khan has better movement Amir Khan has better hand speed Amir Khan has more power... Willie Limond is no match.. Amir Khan will end it in 3 rounds..
the best fight Khans people can get him is a fight with kid diamond, if u guys dont know who he is he's a lightweight he got his arse beat in 10 rounds when he fought nate, he's got an OK KO percentage and he's quite vulnerable he got put down in his last fight by a not so big puncher, he's also ranked by all the major governing bodies. IMO this is the best fight out there right now for amir, i'd also welcome the limmond fight if it happens it would be a good fight to see how much amir has improved since the last meeting
Limond had the rest of the round to end the fight, but he couldn't, if Khan was so affected by the knockdown, he wouldn't have survived the final two minutes. Eardrums don't randomly burst, Limond must have received a beating in the sparring session aswell, and by your final comments, i can see the neutrality of your opinion.
cobbler, are you trying to say that count was 100% correct, done by the book? because i dont think it was, and have you ever heard of Khans people even mention it? it just got swept under the carpet, look Khans a good fighter i think he will go on to bigger things but he was very lucky not to get counted out in the 6th round
Absolutely standard count. If the count had been conducted exactly the same way, but Khan hadn't done his weird dropping to one knee then bouncing back up thing on 8, nobody would ever ever have remarked on it. How do you get counted out when you're up after four seconds? I'm still waiting for someone to cite me the applicable rule.
what are you talking about bouncing back up at 8! he bounced up at 3 then went back DOWN at 8! do you think the ref should start from zero again when he goes back down! cmon mate you aint got a clue have you! its all the one count you dont stop and start it on the one knock down
That's what I said. I'm sorry if this is hard for you, I thought we already established the sequence of events earlier: Ref is counting eight, Khan drops to one knee, looks up at referee who continues counting, Khan bounces back up as referee is counting ten, Ref looks him over and waves fight back on. Now stop finding reasons to act like an idiot and address the actual point:
so what you saying he bounced up at 8 for and if the ref has to count ten then the fighter is counted out there is no ten as ten is out!
