Khan still has a lot to offer. He is young and can still come back hopefully with a rematch.

In the last 12 months, I've heard Khan talk about moving up to Welterweight and fighting Mayweather/Bradley on numerous occasions. It could just be a coincidence that he's lost two fights in the same time period, but I can't help but think that he's started to believe his own hype and took his eye of the ball - just like what happened before the Prescott fight.

I agree, that he's mostly responding to questions. But there is a simple, short answer to all those types of questions. I never heard Khan dismiss these.

It's only my opinion, but I think he needs to hear a new voice, someone with different ideas. He's going backwards under Roach. He should go to Manny Steward and re-build his confidence. You could be right, it might not do any good, but we'll never know until he goes and does it. He's clearly taking no notice of what Roach is telling him to do.

    Get Manny Steward involved.

If he sticks with roach, he may as well retire.

I think he's reached a plateau with Freddy Roach. Roach should get a lot of credit for the improvements he's made to Khan, but now he seems to be going backwards. Then again, can Khan follow instructions? I don't know.

Time is on his side, he can come back from this but things will have to change. A new trainer is not a bad idea.

Also, I noticed in the Lamont Peterson fight that Freddy Roaches Parkinsons seems to be getting worse.

Leaving ******, moving to the US and changing training team could surely be seen a "wake up call" of sorts?

Agree that he needs to do a similar thing again.

Frank actually did AMAZING for Khan following that devestating loss.

Barrera and Kotelnik were masterstrokes by frank.

If he stayed with Fwank, he'll still be fighting the same level Burns is at.

I respect guys like Khan and Hatton who go out to the best and lose than stay at home to face easy pickings.

I definitely think he should retire. Any big shot he takes sends him Bambi legged and reeling round the ring. While in this condition, he has taken a lot of flush shots, which are really damaging. His chin isn't going to improve and I wouldn't want to see him develop Parkinson's later in life.

Basically, the punch resistance isn't there, so I think he should retire.

  10. His reaction to punches reminds me of Enzo mac, and I think it will get worse like it has with Enzo mac

Lesser punches are going to start damaging him

The way he goes down is scary

khan khan khan ive never rated him at the level his team has pushed so hard to elevate him to.he walked away from the prescott defeat and was still privilaged to be able to carry on at top level.he should have tried to avenge the defeat at the earliest possible time.the prescott ****** has always been firmly on his back, and he has wasted a lot of time and effort trying to prove that his chin is good to anyone that would listen .his dickhead team just brushed presscott under the carpet and just carried on as if nothing had happened.it was this action that left something inside khan growing and festering like a cancer, and at this point i really feel for the lad.the khan team have used the poor kid as a cash cow and milked him for all he's worth.u cant hide the demons away and not expect repercussions.

Yeah some folks get knocked down but they don't look hurt e.g. Marquez. He's been knocked down a fair bit but doesn't seem to be really hurt and recovers quickly. Khan's reaction to punches is scary.

I don't think his chin is that bad. He's managed to take flush shots off Maidana and survived them, although he was hurt. The Ariza partnership seemed to be working well. Coincidence that he gets knocked out for the second time when Ariza isn't working with him anymore? I don't know.

Maybe retirement was a bit harsh.

But Khan needs a total change. Not just trainer, but he needs a new management team to. He needs to sack off all the bellends blowing smoke up his arse as well.

    I'm talking total overhaul.

If he just plans to stay with Roach he might as well retire.

He needs to take a serious look at proceedings.

To reiterate what some of you have said; I believe he needs a trainer who is going to dedicate more time and effort to him. He also needs to work on his inside game and learn that the best form of defence in this game, isn't attack.

The sparring for this fight looked particularly brutal as well - that needs to stop or he certainly will be looking at retirement earlier than expected. Needs a big change... again. He's a world class fighter who can mix with other greats, but has visible flaws. If he gets his head down and avoids the media/distractions/delusion he can stick around.

    I'm not so sure.

This fight was differant for Khan from his previous encounters... and even in this fight he wasn't flattened with the first shot he took. He had already taken some shots in this fight and he didn't keel over, Peterson really hit him and he seemed on steadyfoot. Maidana rocked him to his boots but he didn't touch down despite a barrage of flush shots.

Yes, when he did go, he looked really bad - but why was that? was he getting too cocky? did he think it was going to be easy as the first two rounds Garcia didn't really hurt him? did he switch off? Was it tabares conditioning? or was it he has a glass chin?

I would not describe Khan as having glass chin, but what I will say he definately looks shaky when hurt. People are making out he can't taken any punch but he's already proven that wrong since prescott. Also, I do beleive his previous seemingly stronger chin was due to Arizas training methods
