If the Bradley fight doesn't happen there is hardly anyone left at 140. I know Golden Boy are preparing Morales for Khan but Amir already has a couple of 'name' opponents on his record and let's face the legend will just get overwhelmed in there. Apart from that it's basically Alexander and no one wants to see that one.

So how about a move upto Welter? Brook will probably go after a world title before Khan but I think it's a good match up now, and with the emerging roster of Matchroom it could be an opportunity for Hearn and co to put together a PPV (I'm not sure if they have promoted one in a while???). Put it in Britain, obviously up north somewhere and put Barker's comeback on it as well. Against some euro-world level fighter like N'Jikam or maybe even Macklin which would add even more appeal to the show. Stick Gavin Rees in there somewhere and some goldenboy prospect and I think it's plausible.

I think they are aiming for Guerrero or Morales for December.

Why would he face Brook? McCloskey should've been the last step down into Euro class IMO.

I think either try to sort the Bradley fight which would be a big name and a fairly easy win or move up and go after Ortiz.

Bradley is in a long contract dispute, I doubt he'll fight Khan.

Not a chance Khan works with Hearn again, and even if they do, they will go out of their way to sabotage the event, much like the Hearns did to them.

Khan needs to leave Brook, which to all intents and purposes will be another McCloskey type bout& target Senchecnko WBA belt and win a title at his first attempt up there, especially since he's WBA Super champ at LWW and should be able to pull strings leading to him being ranked highly when he moves up.

what has Brook done to deserve a fight with Khan?

Khan is now, confirmed, world level fighter, he is number 1 at 140.

he has one fight left at 140 regardless of Bradley.

if he moves up to 147 I would rather see him in with Mike Jones rather than Brook.

plus Team Khan have stated they won't do business with Matchroom again.

If Bradley doesn't come off and he doesn't want to move to WW yet then why not Prescott? It's one of the only fights that the general public will be interested in. Anyone else (morales etc) I can't see him getting the numbers in the UK.

    what if McCloskey beats Prescott?

The two fights that Schaffer stated last night left at 140 was either Bradley or Morales.

Khan is now bursting at the seems at 140, one fight is all he has left there before he is forced to move up in weight.

Khan, size wise, against Judah last night was like night and day.

Would be a good first fight at the weight if thats the plan. Still majorly disapointed in Tim Bradley, he's lost a fan in me.

Brook does have excellent timing in his punches. He would be more dangerous than Zab IMO. The problem is, its a massive step up in class for him and he could easily be overwhelmed by Khan's speed. Especially since he tends to pull back and away from punches rather than move off to the side. Khan follows through with bursts that are going to catch him.

Of course it depends on the McCloskey/Prescott result. Personally, I think Khan should have fought Prescott instead of taking the Mccloskey bout. If he only has one more fight at light welter and Bradley isn't interested then Prescott would be my choice.

After every fight Prescott name gets mentioned in one sense or another. What better way to finally exercise the ghosts. I'm not sure Khan wants it to be honest. Sky might be interested also
