He has a chance, though with a big IF... If he pulls it, Wlad can also press for a unifier with DW. IN any case he'll make millions. What's not to like?

No, because there's no way he'll win.

He should have taken a farewell fight, like against Wilder, and retire.

Considering how one sided the first fight was I see it as highly unlikely that he can win the rematch so soon after the first fight. But at 39 he doesn't have the time to rebuild so I guess it was really the only option. Wlad is risking it all and risking another loss in the hope he can turn the tables in the rematch, I guess he doesn't want to end his career with a loss.

I don't see how Wlad can look good in the rematch. If he KOs Fury (in which case Fury will probably retire on these 2 massive paychecks, as he has alluded to many times) then we will say Fury was a bum. If Wlad looks bad or gets KO'd in the rematch we know he was old and way past it himself. It's not a great setup for Wlad honestly.

Yes Wlad did right. Nowhere else to go. Suggesting Wilder now he has zero belts is silly. Wilder wouldn't touch Wlad now has he brings nothing - no big money unification cash out fight. For Wilder it'd be all risk no reward. People will say Wlad is old anyway.

Vs Fury in the rematch if he goes for broke and lets his hands go I could see him getting the KO. One thing is certain he can't come in again with the same tactics...it will yield the same result. I have to believe Wlad is a lot smarter than that. Lets see what he can do..if it fails surely just retire I don't see his legacy ruined....only if he still continues would I see him tar his legacy. As is he's got to go for it one more time at least. I'm impressed with Fury but I do think maybe as Wilder said its a case of father time might just have caught up with him.

    ^ THIS

Plus, at the end of the day, he's got to look in the mirror and remember that he lost to a giant clown and never had the guts to try avenge it. I'd rather go down swinging for the fences, even if I got knocked out. No shame in losing if you gave it your best shot.

I do not rate Wlad's legacy highly at all. People who have him their Top 10 all-time are morons. He has beaten nobody and done nothing special whatsoever other than reign over tomato cans.

    HOWEVER:

If he recaptures the titles from Tyson Fury I think he will have genuinely done something special and noteworthy. He will, dare I say it, have shown some greatness. He is right to take this match for this reason.
