Pascal is tied up in a fight with Badou Jack, so he won't have that belt for long.

If Kovalev can cash out in a rematch then I'd say go for it. Maybe he could actually let his hands go.

From Kovalev's point of view - absolutely yes. Biggest pay day out there for him and if he can better execute his plan, he possibly could get to the scorecards (and lose that way).

From a fan's point of view - absolutely not. The fight wasn't great (OK it wasn't bad, but no where near the entertainment level of Spence/Porter or Taylor/Prograis). If Kov has to have a rematch, I'd rather see him fight Yarde again.

Why would Canelo offer him a rematch anyway? Oh wait...

He boxed well but didn't fight well. So no. Krusher is well and truly dead so leave it.

WHy would he be tied up with Badou Jack? Jack lost his last fight to Marcus Browne, who Pascal beat... why would Jack face the loser of his previous opponent? doesn't make any sense. Jack doesn't deserve the title shot ... What did he do to deserve that fight?

If Kovalev could have surgery to remove his Glass Mandible and have it replaced with a Titanium Mandible he could win a rematch!

If Kovalev had never been KTFO before there's no way Canelo would have fought him!

It's a very winnable fight for him so why not?

Not unless he’s already spent that cash that fell out of De La Hoyas fishnets already. Should have been his retirement fight

Kovalev himself looks to be enjoying his cash-out against Canelo. Look at his Instagram, dude is finally enjoying life after landing that big pay day.

He wont be coming back again unless he is getting a sizeable 7 figure payday.

Good for him. He did it for his family.

Yes. Rematch for another 12 million. He lays down again. Canelo can’t hurt him.

A rematch with no rehydration clause might be interesting. But I'd rather see GGG 3. At least Golovkin comes to fight, even if he is by now almost as old as Luis Ortiz.
