He robbed the fans of something, that counts believe it or not. Tbh I'm not fussed either way as i think it was a **** fight.

 

All he owed the fans was a performance when he was in the ring.At 37 years of age ,if he couldn't find the motivation to put his body through another training camp then he did the right thing as far as I'm concerned. He has his health plenty of£££ and a loving family, good luck to the guy. I'd rather see him as he is now than Evander,Hearns,Bowe and a few others..

but why show interest in a guy who didnt even have a recognised title, a NOBODY, like vitali and whom he trounced inside 6? Thats like saying ,..why didnt he rematch frank bruno, who did much better than vitali?

 

lewis did vitali a favour by vacating becos it meant vitali could now win something other than an unrecognised wbo titel noone wanted.

lewis retirement helped vitali out massive, it made him more than a minor title holder. if lewis had stuck around, vitali would have remained a nobody for MUCH LONGER.

 

I'm sorry Mendoza. You aren't ever nasty to anyone and I shouldn't rip the pish as much. You have a weird obsession with Vitali, that's all.
