Reverse punches only work grabbing a drunk and backing him up..that caliber..you do not want to reverse punch and not just think that's the end of the fight as I think you know...reverse punching and sliding upward on the opponents arms and continuing is after the counter hit is crucial this is what the reverse punch was desighned to do......if hit hard enough he will get the drift....again this is on a non threatning opponent....Machida?Well fighting a ready trained fighter is different than a non ready..this is where Martial arts come in,,,look at the early ufc's and its almost like a bad B movie compared to the trained Athletes/fighters today....Martial arts are only as good as the practicioner...so yea Machida kind of brings that element.
