    Not even a T10 Welter.

All this talk of him being a huge threat because he took 3 rounds against a coasting Floyd, big deal, whos to say a Berto, Alexander or Chaves wouldn't be able to steal an equal amount of rounds?

Cotto got the same treatment after a much closer fight, next fight, loses more convincingly to Trout, hype gone... Once Maidana fights a T10, Brook, Thurman, Porter, Bradley type, the hype goes.

Shutout by Alexander at 147' (Same would happen if they fought now yet ranked ahead of him? Impossible to justify.

Khan destroys Alexander and holds win over Maidana yet somehow ranks below him... :dead

Kotelnik vs. Maidana was a great fight though, very close high action.

The rankings are for what they most recently accomplished. Alexander and Khan have either lost or struggled to lesser opponents. Maidana, before Khan's victory over Alexander, was on a better streak than both of them. Khan, IMO, should rank closely to Maidana now (ahead or behind), with Alexander trailing them both.

Chino is one of the best WWs in the world today .

    That's for sure .

Garcia might possibly find that out , Chino recently called him out for a fight @ 147 .

Last time I check Chino is human and can potentially get hurt just like any other fighter can .

Exactly what is your point ?

Lopez is very aggressive and packs a punch , its not like hes featherfisted .

Maidana is pretty good and sometimes doesn't get the respect he deserves and sometimes hes overrated

Hes a very good welterweight but I don't think hes a pound for pound top ten fighter

Alexander is a skillful , respectable WW himself .

Over Pac? The judges pulled off the biggest robbery since the days of Billy the Kid.

Maidana ain't no P4P fighter but he's definitely a top 10 WW's closer to top 6. Everybody harp's on fighting the best the dude has one of the toughest JWW/WW résumé out of this generation.

In 5 losses only 2 are not debatable. Kotelnik got a razor close SD that could go the other way, Khan basically got a draw he won of a 1st rd kd plus Khan ducked Maidana last year, even Mayweather I depending on some close rd you can give Marcos anywhere from 3-6rds.

The only P4P WW's should be Mayweather & Pacquiao, saying that though outside of Brook/Alexander II due to style's I can see Maidana beating or being 50/50 with the rest of the top 10.
