I understand what you're saying but I find that highly unlikely that Margorito didnt know what was being placed in his wraps.

Like I said and please read this very slow so you get where I am comming from, Capetillo had the pads pre made we know this.
FNFs showed the commission, a video of what the inserts looked like and where they were placed in the pad.
Both inserts for each pad looked like the shape of a stick of chewing gum.
With both tucked in the middle of the "Pre Made Gauze pad" and being as small as they were and knowing they were bendable Margarito could look at his trainer all he ****ing wants he still does not see whats been snuck INSIDE the pads.....
and thats where I am comming from if you cant see it because its tucked inside of a folded knucklepad made of gauze how do you expect him to know?

so you think Margos trainer did this on his own? put his AND Margos career on the line and Margo knew NOTHING about it?

Anything is possible, BUT IMO its more plausable that margo knew what was happening and when the **** hit the fan, his trainer tried to take the fall alone

http://www.ehow.com/how_4475228_use-plaster-paris.html

"Originally named after a large gypsum deposit in Paris, this powdery white substance hardens when mixed with water and left to dry. Used by law enforcement agencies to transfer tire tracks and foot prints, Plaster of Paris is also handy for making crafts. Even doctors use the substance to smooth over bandages on a broken limb to immobilize it until it can heal. With a few supplies, you can use Plaster of Paris for many applications."

I'll grant you that, though all I was sayin is the plaster of paris elements in the wraps, when mixed with the sweat from the gloves causes the mixture to start, well, mixing. But whatever.

And if it gets wet it will soften back up. I'd love to get a couple of boxing experts in, like a Freddy Roach and even Richardson again, and let them do a thorough examination. Let them wet them, dry them, whatever they want.....

If I remember correctly, Richardson pressed the issue because originally the 'official' didn't think they were unusual.

When you doctor up the hands or wraps, I'm a guy who believes in a fighter being banned for life. AM was not caught until he Shane fight. He did not get a chance to cheat against Shane so if I had to choose yes or no, I'd say yes...AM should be allowed to fight since there is no evidence that he cheated in the past even though many of us think he did. Remember what AM did to Cotto, and what he did to Lujan when his ear was almost torn off.

All of this inflicted by a slow-fisted plodder like Margarito. We have to be compelled to believe he's been cheating his entire career. He likely tried to killed Cotto and Mosley in the ring those nights, along with his other opponents, many of whom still beat him and his loaded gloves.

A world titlist for many years would know whether his wraps were loaded illegally. This would be an excuse for a lower-tier fighter, not for someone on the top level.

Disclaimer: This isn't to say that, by any means, that Margarito has world class SKILLS, just that he's been at the top level. Assisted, it is fair to assume, by illicit means.

It would be either naive or intentionally negligent to believe Margarito did not know.

Did you see the video evidence shown on FNFs?
if no **** off, if you have then retract this thread and read up on it, I doubt he knew those inserts where that small for him not to...
if he knew, if the state felt he knew, and if the state also felt there was enough proof of any sort of plaster paris he would be facing criminal charges right now as we speak, The DA was involved do you remember that?
For some reason they are no longer involved I wonder why?

I've followed the entire thing up until now, including Capetillo's joke of an admission of guilt in an attempt to clear Margarito. I wonder what sort of cash he pulled down for that.

Bazooka, why do you keep misquoting Freddie Roach when he said he didn't believe Margarita ?

Was the findings and the declaration of the commision conclusive and proven beyond reasonable doubt? :blood

For all I know it was not until this time . . . and Team Margarito was contemplating filling charges against the commision but decided not to . . . because it will just delay his return to the ring.

If the commision can provide a clear and strong evidence that warrants ban for life . . . then yes . . . I'm all for it. :deal

Yeah, no proof outside of Margo himself admitting that he was "unaware" and that it was his trainer who put the "plasterlike substance" into his gloves. I love how Margo fans only want to believe their own views, not even the word of their own fighter. Give me a break.

Margo should never be allowed to fight again. He should never make another cent off of it. And his entire career should be brought into question.

I still cant believe there are people still defending him...
