I dont see his boxing career going any further. his eye was already shut in the 3rd round round and i doubt it was because cottos power. i think he should just retire for the safety of his eye cuz i see a repeat of this happening for all of his future fights.

heres a video about his eye

Yes. This should be his final big pay day.

Manny injured that eye permanently. It went through a number of surgeries and it still didn't heal properly. For the sake of his left eye, he needs to stop.

I don't think he should retire since there's some intriguing fights for him at 154lbs. You have to understand Margarito is never or ever be a great boxer and he does what he does best and the pressure you to submission. I believe he win a lot of fights at 154lbs against guys like James Kirkland, Angulo, Austin Trout, K9 and so on. If he starts to lose against lesser opponents then he needs to hang it up but for right now I think he manage to make things interesting in that division. The question is can his right eye manage the damage ?

I doubt he'll be allowed to fight in the United States again. He shouldn't fight again. That eye is ****ed. And so is his brain.

Shouldve retired right after the pacman fight, unfortunately he doesnt seem to care about his well being and it diesnt look like his team or even his family care that much either.
He'll always find a way to get licensed again even though his eye is a mess, look how they got his doctor saying his eye became stronger after surgery than it was before it :rofl
