Should Matt Skelton fight Sam Peter for a world title chance?

Im a huge Skelton fan, so this is probably biased, but I would love to see this fight and think that Skelton would beat Peter by UD with his rough house tactics style as mentioned above.

 

Any particular reason why?:think

 

Both these guys are terrible, the heavyweight division depresses me it really does.

 

Skelton may get a world title opportunity without having to fight a 'big' name like sam peter. Would be nice for him to get that chance, but i would be quite content with him defending the euro title a couple of times and earning some decent cash.

 

I'm a massive fan of Matt Skelton as a person, his style is secondary as far as his popularity is concerned for me. I think he could win snooze-fests against Holyfield or Valuev. I'd love to see him firstly with a World Title, and secondly getting a massive payday against a Klitschko.

I also love that he's been quoted as being 40 in the press for like, the last 4 years.

 

A fight like this is the last thing the heavyweight division needs at the moment. It would be nice to see Skelton get a shot though at a title thats is not held by the Klitschkos, and I suppose it's the perfect time considering how painfully weak the division is.

i like big matt and hed be a handful for any top heavyweight i believe ,maybe bar vitali klitschko.


i believe vitali is a much tougher man than wlad after watch him take all lewis's bombs and not wilt.wlad has somthing about him where youd never be surprised if any contender dropped him where as i dont believe vitali has a weak chin like wlad and also vitali has more warriors heart.

 

I always like the rough house styles in a heavyweight, he also seems like a nice guy. And for some reason, I always support the old fighter trying to claim one last shot at glory. I was all for Holmes, Foreman, Holyfield now, McCall now, and all other heavyweights trying to claim this glory. Im not gonna lie, when I saw the Valuev-Holyfield match, I cried for Holyfield. It's a damn shame when an old fighter is robbed of his last triumphant victory.

 

Wasn't he alleged to have beaten some bloke up who texted his missus a couple years ago - although no charges were made it did muck him up for a bit.

I thought that his performance against Chargaev - who is world class - was pretty creditable and Chargaev would easily beat Peter.

I give him a good shot against Peter, but still odds would be against Skelton I think. It wouldn't be a great fight but at least he wouldn't be fighting Fraudley.

 

I think he would bash up any heavy here, with the probable exception of Haye.

Worldwise, the Klits and Chagaev are a step above, but the rest I would give him more than a 50-50 chance against.
