nope. Mayweather won the legal way whether or not people agree with it. Ortiz should not have started with that headbutt. Mentally weak Ortiz.

Lets see here. Floyd grabbed Ortiz by the throat in pre fight conference. Floyd smashed ortiz with his elbows during the fight. Floyd punched ortiz in the throat and right before the headbutt grabbed on to both sides of Ortiz's neck tryin to fuk with him. I am absolutely shocked Ortiz even apologized. I wouldn't have, I would have spat in Floyds face after for good measure. Fukin dirty piece of ****, sucker punches Mosley, gatti, ortiz, elbows all of them. So called ATG has to resort to sucker punches to win this fight.
I'm tellin you, if Floyd had of seriously hurt Ortiz with those sucker punches, killed him or turned him into a vegetable, I'm pretty damn sure legal action would have been taken and Floyd would have been back to jail for a long time. It wasn't sport that took place, that was street coward sucker punch.

And what about the other headbutts from previous rounds?

Also, the fact you think the elbow block is "throwing an eblow" just shows you don't know jack. Forearms and elbows can absolutely be used for defense.

    Cortez face told otherwise.

I was in tears watching his face as Floyd landed the second punch, He was like 'What the **** is going on here'. Cortez didn't even realize what was going on.

Yes indeed I do . I call anyone that would act like a street punk taking a cheap shot a punk coward.. Boxing is basically a SPORT!!
Ortiz probably got pissed off at Floyd's dirty tricks throughout the fight. Cortez did nothing about it like he was obviously told not to do.
Lets reverse this situation Lets say it was Ortiz cold ****ed Floyd ? You'd all be calling for his head demanding he be banned from boxing & you know it.
I really do not know how Floyd , his team or any of his nutcase fans can have the gall to class this as a KO win for Floyd. How can Floyd have any credibility left??? He knows Castillo really kicked his ass so his 0 should have been history anyway. I excused him that one it was a judges decision, but the Ortiz fight? No way in hell should that be a KO win for the punk coward:twisted::twisted:

Cortez had restarted the fight, and then he turned to look at the timekeeper. He was surpised because he didn't expect Ortiz to get knocked the **** out that fast. Doesn't change the fact that the fight had resumed when Mayweather threw the punches. Ortiz was an idito for trying to hug a guy who he just flying headbutted.

Double standards, the man was told to get dirty by his corner, was he not? A flying headbutt and other infractions. you are the same people that say rough him up, get dirty.

Toker I've been in and around boxing for 35 yrs, I love boxing history while you are probably a kid still at school..
Any boxer that takes cheap shots like that & then has the gall to call it a KO win , is a punk coward to me. Floyd will never be universally regarded as a real champion he lacks the balls of a champion

Was it within the rules? Yes. But mainly due to Cortez' poor enforcement of them and his general lack of recognition of what was going on but that's not Floyd's fault.

But it was also a cheap way out of a fight against an opponent who was extremly overmatched to begin with.
