No. But I belive a different ref would of not called that a knockdown and took one point away from Floyd while Victor got his senses back.

Thats not the way it works.

Cortez had two choices when Mayweather cold ****ed Ortiz.

    1. Call it like he did, a legal blow and a knockout for Mayweather.

    or

    2. Call it an illegal blow and disqualify Mayweather.

Because Cortez had half asses signaled for the fight to continue without getting between the fighters as he should have, he really had no choice but to rule what he did. A knockout for Mayweather even though Cortez himself knew Mayweather cold ****ed him.

The reason Cortez could'nt stall for time and gave Ortiz a chance to get his senses back is because the rules state that once a fighter has been knocked out, he cant be allowed to continue.

Ortiz was down for a 10 count meaning he could have had a concussion.
You dont allow such fighter to continue fighting when you know he did'nt have his senses about him for over 10 seconds.

Was'nt doing his job, that we know. He should have been between the fighters and signaled for them to fight as he stepped from between them.
Thats not what Cortez did which is why Oritz was confused.

Because everyone knows Ortiz was defenseless and in the midst of stepping back with his hands down to re-set much less not looking at the second one. When someone has no clue a punch is coming, it's a sucker punch.

He didnt just do it out of the blue. He got headbutted. Theres a difference.

He did what anyone else would do in that moment.

If I come headbutt you right now, your first reaction would be to get even. its the way it is.

Spoken out of emotion and not facts. Ortiz is suppose to be a professional boxer. Professional boxers no better than to blatantly headbutt their opponents. They also know to Protect Their-selves at ALL times. Ortiz has no one to blame but himself.

First reaction!!! Not quite. Floyd had about 20 seconds before. touched ortizs glove, kinda half hugged him and when he knew ref wasn't looking and ortiz was defenseless he let loose. You would think one sucker punch would suffice, but he throws 2??!! And ends the fight people paid good money to watch? He's a coward, admit it. His reaction wasn't instinct at all. He knew what he was doing. Besides Ortiz had one point off, his head butt was never going to jeopardize the fight. What Floyd did is unforgivable. I'm telling you, if Ortiz died from that, Floyd would be doing 10 years for manslaughter, maybe 20 depending on intent to hurt argument.

Yea and they should know not to elbow opponents either. But it happens, as headbutts do. Floyd took retaliation to a whole new level. The whole place erupted in boos. Everyone hated Floyd at that moment except his *****'s who can see no wrong. Even 50 was looking uncomfortable and uncertain whether to congrat Floyd. Floyd didn't just take 2 major cheap shots and KO ortiz, he robbed all the fans the money they paid to watch a boxing fight, not WWE circus sideshow.

Like my friend head coach, promoter, matchmaker and gym owner Robert Gonzales (who hates Floyd Mayweather by the way) said after Floyd KOed Ortiz. "Anyone who gets mad at Mayweather for what he did doesn't know **** about boxing". Robert has met Mayweather several times and has a deep dislike for the man. Robert is also Victor Ortiz's first amateur trainer and trained Victor up to the age of 13. Ortiz was with Robert right up and until Victor left for Denver and Ron Lyle's gym. Robert predicted an Ortiz melt down and that was exactly what happened.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLL this made my night at how stupid that is.

    Protect yourself at all times.
Dont do what you done want done to you.
Floyd hit him with two boxing gloves, Ortiz through a headbutt that could have broken the mans nose, and then said after the fight that he was TRYING to break his nose.

It isnt a coward. I dont care about the well being of a shithead who headbutts me. And neither would you. Cutt the bull****

OH WELL. MONEY IN THE BANK IS MONEY IN THE BANK. YOU PEOPLE ARE SO SENSITIVE. MY GOD. IT WAS A FIGHT. NO ONE FUTURE DEPENDED ON IT.

ORTIZ THREW A HEADBUTT. APOLOGIZED TO FLOYD. KISSED FLOYD. HUGGED FLOYD. FLOYD EVEN SAID OKAY AND TOUCHED HIS GLOVE. THEN CORTEZ SAID BOX. FLOYD DIDNT EVEN SWING RIGHT AFTER THAT. HE PUT HIS GUARD UP FIRST. THEN THREW THE 2 PIECE THAT ENDED THE NIGHT:bbb
