Should Mayweather take on a tuneup prior to Pac even though he voluntarily sat out

For what's going on a year?

I can understand if he had an injury and couldnt compete, but should the boxing world accept yet another so called tune up bout when/if he decides he wants to return to the ring? Or should he just go straight into training for a showdown with Pac since Floyd is a top notch athlete who stays in shape all year round? This of course is a hypothetical question assuming he comes back for a fight with Pac.

I bet the same Floydboys who are claiming Floyd would school Pac, are the same ones claiming he should take a tune-up bout first.

Maybe I should have added a 3rd option that read:

    3. Let me wait to see what Floyd chooses and I'll just agree with him.

without any offense, Floyd is too brittle for a tuneup

    Enough with the fkn tune-ups.

The only way Id consider accepting this is if Floyd fought literally no more than 2 wks either side of the Pac-Mosely fight... that way both can make the fight without worry of inactivity or not enough rest between fights, they can pick a date that suits both men.... other than that Id say to Floyd **** no, just stay in shape & pray to **** that Shane doesnt land a bomb on Pac`s chin.

He looked great when facing Marquez, no need for a tune up

Money fights once a year. That's just enough inactivity to justify a tune-up every fight.

if floyd fights again it's not gonna be a tuneup for pac. its just gonna be..a fight.
mayweather wants nothing to do with pacquiao at all. it doesnt matter how much money the fights gonna make, its not happening. not this year, not next year, not after floyd's legal problems and not after a tune up.
