Mayweather can fit in a fight before the Arum-designated next fight date for Pacquiao, so I don't see why he wouldn't pick Ortiz. More money and less effort than pretty much anybody else available. Ortiz is now a household name and has millions of mainsteam supporters who feel he was doing "well" until he was done dirty by the dastardly Mayweather. The rematch PPV numbers would be HUGE. I don't see how Mayweather wouldn't turn that down.

I'm sure if there is money to be made, Mayweather will make a push for it.
Mayweather will only fight the fights that will bring him the most $$$$.

I would not want to see it nor would I pay for it even if the undercards were decent or great. Ortiz will not be bringing anything new. He has no new experience and I will agree that he gets mentally beaten. His last move was out of desperation.

:deal Exactly. Pac, Floyd, and Sergio
arent getting any younger. Floyd and the whole world knew who was winning. The only good fights that can be made people start to make excuses. They better not even consider a rematch that would look like the first fight was staged as ****.

It's the reason Mayweather PICKED Ortiz... His frustration was probably on par with Tyson biting Holyfields ear. :hat

In December? That'd be stupid (for them), there are three PPV fights in the next three months. They couldn't get enough hype for it and there's be no 24/7. I do think that the finish means that it would do very well on PPV if a rematch were to take place.

Yea I was thinkin this too. The drama moreso than the fight itself is what would sell the fight. Sneeky *******s.

Mayweather will never Fight Pacquiao... so I rather see Ortiz/Mayweather rematch than any other fight. And that is IF he meant to give the rematch rather than saying what the public want to hear!
