very debatable decision, i had presscot up by two points, could hAVE GONE WITH A DRAW BUT NO WAY HE WON THAT, considering how he thinks he deserves a rematch with khan, should he give one to presscot?

Prescott fought a great fight and unfortunately he gassed towards the end. It was a very close fight and I scored it 115-113 McCloskey. In my view he was beaten fair and square and I can't see a justification for a re-match.

But who knows what may happen down the road if McCloskey gets another world title shot and Prescott stays in world title contention. Right now I'd probably be more interested in seeing one of the apparent pound for pound best fighters set the record straight and avenge his solitary defeat.

Yes. Prescott arguably won. If it was the other way round, McCloskey would be demanding a rematch. ****, he lost every round to Khan and he still wants a rematch of that fight. Seems only fair that he gives Prescott another crack, I thought the Colombian clearly won.

I think there should be a rematch because the fight was so close a true winner needs to be found

Was it a good action-packed fight, worth watching knowing the result if im not a big fan of either fighter?

No, not particularly. Only really interesting to watch for scoring purposes, otherwise it's fairly uninteresting.

Not sure what a rematch achieves for either fighter just now but if Paul had a title then yes I would feel Prescott would warrant a rematch.

Fair and square? From most people on here, it's a fight Prescott won.

I'm sure you saw justification in a Khan-McCloskey rematch though, right?

  14. Good fight, very close, and Im sure Dudey will happily give Prescott a rematch, but thats not likely to happen until after McCloskey gets a crack at Maidana or the possible rematch Khan mentioned.

Prescott has wanted a rematch with Khan for 3 years, and he sparked him out in less than a minute there, in a pretty definitive fashion, Im not hearing a lot of people demanding a remath there though.

Meh prescott gassed near the end and defo lost the last 5 rounds straight could have been a draw (mcclosky winning with out that bull**** kd) or 1 round either way.
And the justification wth the khan rematch has to do with the fact khan was winning everyround so far but was looking tired and the fight stopped for a bullsit paper cut
