Should Merchant be on the PBF,Hatton card?

Larry Merchant is going to be announcing it through his one and only virgin born messiah son while feasting on ambrosia and 18 year old girls in his heavenly kingdom.

Merchant is a critical part of a television boxing event. I don't care of the guy is totally demented and senile. Roll his ass out there. He is a part of what I pay for when I buy a PPV fight.

One argument for Kellerman is that it would be interesting to see how he tries to discredit PBF after Hatton beats him.

Larry Merchant is a central figure in this whole affair and as important as the principals. Actually, if they don't perform as well or as expected, expect Larry to inflict some verbal shots to keep Floyd honest and possibly having second thoughts into retirement plans back again. Man, I Love Larry!

 

I think my very first boxing posts were equivilant to stoning of Max Kellerman but I really think he has been humbled and now speaks mostly truth when it comes to boxing.

Lewis, Papa, Merchant, and Lampley bore me to no end and are sickeningly biased. Same with the Showtime guys except Bernstien.

Whatever happened to smart true grits like Big George and Sean O'grady?
