62 fights 58 wins 4 losses, also held the IBF middleweight title from 1988 to 1991, and the WBA super middleweight title from 1992 to 1994. He has had a lot of legal problems and jail time.

I believe he should be. There’s a lot of fighters in there that are nowhere near his level, ability-wise & accomplishments-wise. It’s true, he didn’t fulfill his true potential, but I think he did enough to be inducted, yes.

I'd say so too. In his pomp he was top shelf

Absolutely he should be! I didn't even realize he wasn't.
The elites of our sport are a shameful bunch indeed!

He definitely should be. As should Sumbu Kalambay and Marlon Starling. Nunn was a very special fighter for a time.

Absolutely. If he were around today, none of these other beltholders (including GGG) would have won a world championship.

There's fighters who fought before Nunn who STILL haven't been inducted. Nunn was special at his best.

Considering who is in it YES! I suspect serving 25 years for coke dealing perhaps plays against him though...

He has a small case but not a strong one. If he had beaten Toney and then McCallum he’d have a better argument

They've allowed worse than that into the hall. Maybe they're waiting until he's released and can actually attend in person.

He’s been out for a few years and just got out on the ballot. I don’t think he’ll be waiting too much longer.

He had one win over a genuinely excellent fighter, the knockout of Kalambay.

His second-best win is a level or two below that. Tate, Roldan, and Barkley all solid but beatable MWs. Cordoba and Sosa decent 168-pounders. Weight-jumping Starling is maybe a candidate. Washed-up Curry isn't.

If he had utterly steamrolled his competition then maybe I could see it, but he looked beatable and flawed in a lot of his fights. His getting in would be a reflection of how he was seen from the Tate fight through the Kalambay fight, when he looked like the next great middleweight, even though we now have the benefit of hindsight to tell us that he wasn't.

    Monzon is a literal murderer.

Tyson, even though I think he was set up and never raped that woman, was convicted of ****.

It'd be a joke to draw the line at a coke dealer.

I think so. Just wish he could have gone on at Middleweight a few more years.
