I don't believe in diluting the hall further by saying, "but this person is in it!" ala the McGuigan argument.

I also don't believe in the morality argument bcuz many if not most r scumbags anyways. They're judged on their contributions to the sport not if they are/were a standout samaritan.

Now, I love watching him in his prime but he barely makes it. I have him in the same category as Bowe meaning I'm not mad if they got in but another solid win would've really secured it for them. To me. Lookin as objectively as I can bcuz I really love watching them prime but wanna b fair.

You beat me to it. At one time he was number one. Lesser fighters are in there.

Palomino, McGuigan, Mancini, Gatti, Brian Mitchell. Those are 5 guys just off the top of my head less accomplished and less deserving than Nunn.

No least deserving hof list is complete without Naseem Hamed and Timothy Bradley,

(Mitchell was a quality fighter btw and very deserving)

Yes he should be and what he did outside the ring should have no bearing in it

I thought highly of him. He was a tall middleweight who would have been a difficult encounter for a lot of middleweights in history.
It's true, he didn't quite live up to his potential, and he didn't impress as much after the Kalambay KO. Then was KO'ed himself by Toney.

Still an argument could be made for him being in the HOF. I rate him over several others that are in the hall that do not belong there.
Gatti, God rest his soul, exciting as he was, does not belong in there at all....

I think Nunn fell slightly short of being a hall of famer.
