Rourke was an ATG. Just watch the movie " Bar fly. " He beat the **** out of that bartender until he was completely out, and did it while being **** drunk!!!

Rourke is 1-1 against Stallone, lost to DeNiro in his prime, lost to Downey Jr while past it but he beat B listers Frodo, Hauer, and Roberts. That makes him about on Duran's level.

I don't think it was fake when an old ass Monzon knocked him out.

I hope the people who are saying these fights are real are just joking.

They are obviously and comically fake.

Micky Rourke likes boxing and he is fascinated with boxers. I heard he once went to an amateur show, with mostly juniors taking part, a real grass routes show. He watched all the contests. after he gave all the kids money and took time to talk to all the kids including the ones that lost.

I've seen these Rourke fights. I remember them at the time.

Even in the real world Promoters look after ticket sellers and there is a level where a ticket seller won't get hurt and can win even if it is at a level that dosnt mean much. It's just how it is.

Matchmakers pride themselves in getting a win for the house fighter because a match well made is a match half won. They will search high and low for just the right opponent ....or get one licensed.

I think Micky was a famous person who wanted to take part in boxing. Famous people cant take part in the real world at the best of times- and Rourkes participation in boxing was not part of the real world either! Same with Freddie Flintoff the cricket player. It was not how it is for those of us in the real world.

If a famous person was not famous they would not get to do most things they wind up doing.

At 62 years young made his much anticipated return to the ring, after a 20 year layoff, destroying an opponent half his age.

He should stick to playing Marv, although he sill looks pretty badass, he grew up down the road from me, only 30 years earlier
