You're grasping at straws. Rourke shrugged his shoulders as if to say "I have no idea why this guy went down", exactly what Danny Green did when Briggs took a dive in the first round of their fight.

That kind of reaction makes the audience think the fight was fixed, so if Rourke wanted to fool us he wouldn't have done that. He wasn't acting, he was just reacting honestly and unwittingly exposed the whole circus act. Otherwise we wouldn't be calling the fight fake.

If both fighters had been following a script, then it would have looked real. There would have been a cue at a planned moment in the fight, and the punch would have been hard and on the spot, not a glancing feather-duster.

It's obvious that Rourke's manager pays bums a few thousand dollars to take a dive, without telling Rourke about the fix because Rourke obviously is convinced he's a boxer and wouldn't accept to be a circus act.

Why does every thread have to be about Mayweather?

Holy **** I just watched his 'come' back fight on the Provodnikov Castillo undercard. I'm at a loss for words. Clear dive from Elliot Seymour. He didn't throw a single right hand and he went down from a glances body shot that technically hit him in the back. I can't believe they can get away with that. It was TOO obvious.

    Unless you was there stfu.

Mickey was ferocious against seymour and made it look easy by the sheer volume of punches which sounded like AK 47 gun shots in the arena. I felt sorry for seymour in there getting punished like that.

He ought to be getting some scans, x-rays and therapy after that beating

If mick can find some more durable opponents that are willing to get in the same ring with him so rourke can get some 12 rounders under his belt than I dont see why he cant eventually challange for a title late 2015

It was an exhibition, boxrec doesn't have it. They should however remove his other fixed fights too.
