Was never a fan of his personally (tho he was extremely exciting)...but his accomplishments and his skills make it hard to keep him out. I just wish he wasnt so damn weak willed when it came to coming back from defeat. Definately in tho...without a question if I had a vote. I mean, we are talking about a fighter who had 15 consecutive title defenses (16 total major world title wins!!!). Unified on two separate occasions at FW. Holds wins over Kelley, Vazquez, Medina, Mccollough, etc. Plus, regardless of how you feel about the man, its damn near impossible to argue his skillset was insane.
Barry McGuigan Ingemar Johansson Laszlo Papp (if we're gonna include great amateur boxers in the IBHOF, let's also have Mark Breland, Felix Savon, and Teiflon Stevenson). Pipino Cuevas Jess Willard James Braddock There are among the weaker IBHOF fighters, IMO. Of course, I don't know any induction that raises a  more than Jose Suliaman.
Like someone said no one wearing leopard print shorts should be a HOFer The credible reason is that he quit at the old age of 28 after taking a terrible beating by Barrera. Never had the guts to take the rematch that was guaranteed by his contract and quit instead.
