Morales was quite the intelligent technician,too,when he wanted to be and in his own right.The key to beating Hamed is not to let him psych you out,as he did to so many lesser opponents than Morales,and drag you into the undisciplined shootout in which he thrived.MAB wrote the blueprint and followed through quite effectively.Hamed simply had no answer,fought once more and then faded away.

You know what the funny part is?The Hamed ones on these boards love to bring up MAB getting stopped by Junior Jones in their 1st.But what they NEVER mention is that MAB immediately challenged Jones afterwards and put in a decent account of himself in the rematch(OBVIOUSLY far better than in the 1st)despite losing.Whereas Hamed was outboxed and embarrassed by MAB at TWENTY-****ING SEVEN and after 30 something fights,NEVER demanded a rematch,fought against one more opponent in Manuel Calvo and quit the sport.Can you begin to imagine how Hamed would have reacted had MAB stopped him instead of just embarrassing him?Most certainly NOT the way MAB responded after getting stopped.Quite hilarious.But quite telling:yep.

 

There are no excuses made for Hamed just facts.
