As far as I know he didn't have problems making weight and just moved up because he was confident about taking Robinson's belt.

I can't remember exactly who held the SBW belts at the time, were Wilfredo Vasquez and a young Barrera champions?

I love the Hamed V Angeles fight, Naz was razor sharp in this one. Angeles went 12 with Morales after this and I'm sure he took Israel Vasquez into the later rounds.

Naz always boasted he would win belts at 4 or 5 different weights.

Could he have won a belt at SBW or even clean out the division?

Or was he having difficulty making weight? Or was the competition too strong?

theres no money in the divisions below Featherweight, thats why naz moved up. even though at that time Morales, Barrera and Marquez were in the division then and it was **** hot.

Look at Vasquez vs Marquez. 3 of the 5 best fights of the past 2 years, and no one but harcore boxing fans gave a ****. none of them got shown in British tv even Setanta.

NO! He was a growing lad. I think he should have stayed at 126lbs for a bit longer though. Too much emphasis on winning nowadays. The sport has lost some top quality fighters as a result. Not saying I want them to be gay like Oscar and start smiling like a bender when he loses, even after the Tito robbery! Silly boy that man.
