Hopkins and Calzaghe moved up and did fine.RJJ and Leonard were beaten by lesser fighters.Does it take too much of your body at a certain age?

Last I remember Manny was moving up TWO weight divisions in a fight almost EVERYONE called a "circus" where Oscar toys with him and knocks him cold. Oscar has ALL the advantages in this fight, FAR more advantages than he could ask for.

The reason he lost is Manny Pacquiao, I know it's shocking but at least TRY to believe it. :good

So what you are saying is that Oscar still has a couple of years left in the sport and the reason for this beating was the bad stylistically match up and the fact Pac is an ATG.
I cannon imagine that this is the same fighter who went to war with Mosley and gave MAG a boxing lesson in his prime. His legs are shot and his speed has diminished.Floyd would have raped Oscar tonight.
The best thing that could happen to Oscar legacywise is another fight and defeat so the critics understand he is shot a la RJJ against Glencoffe Johnson.
    WAR PACMAN :fire

Yes, that's exactly what I and EVERYONE was saying just hours ago before the fight was over with. The only reason you say it now doesn't prove but foolishness in my opinion, the result is out and clear, so it's pretty easy to try and become a philosopher in the sport, very stupid and weak attempt.

As I said, only hours ago Manny Pacquiao was a huge underdog, Manny Pacquiao was set to fight in a "circus" where he gets knocked the **** out, Manny Pacquiao was moving up TWO weight divisions, Manny Pacquiao didn't have the defense, Manny Pacquiao was "money only" and Manny Pacquiao wasn't supposed to win.

Now that it's over let's ignore all of that and pay attention to the list of the excuses the loser in the fight had and let me tell you the list is very very small. DLH had ALL the advantages he needed to make people completely ignore the fact that he's past it. He had the size, reach, height. weight, skills, power, chin and even speed(since we didn't know how fast Pacquiao will be). What more can he ask for?, he asked for all of that and got it, hell he even had the bigger share of the purse. Only thing missing there is Pacquiao having one hand tied behind his back or being forced to fight on one leg.

This is the same fighter who only ONE year ago nearly beat Mayweather, I'm a huge Mayweather fan but scored the fight for Oscar as I shamelessly mentioned numerous times whenever I discuss this fight. This is also the same Oscar who took the Forbes fight to avoid being rusty in this one as he was against Mayweather. Let's not forget, Mayweather was expected to dominate DLH the way Pac did tonight, that didn't happen and not even 0.01% close not even for ONE SECOND during that fight.

You might want to wake the **** up and at least remember the words in the boxing world before the fight took place. You might try to make it sound like it's ignored with your delusional bull**** in this thread but there's no way in hell any half serious boxing fan will look at this fight the way you're pretending everyone will years later.

Pacquiao completely destroyed him, people expected the complete opposite and didn't give Pacquiao a chance. Can you blame them?, hell no. Even in my very own prediction(Manny Pacquiao by UD) I had MANY doubts simply because of the long fat LIST of advantages DLH had in this one.

Either appreciate it or continue being delusional to try and make an ATG victory look bad then complain about boxing being "dead". What you witnessed right now is history, appreciate it.

Imagine if Oscar had fought Cotto or Margarito.

Scar is the man. He speaks the truth.

Oscar could have weighed in at 154 if he wanted to, he still gets busted up
