Floyd won't get the credit for Shane, I am quite sure but as a fan I want to see it. Floyd won't get credit for anyone he beats in many people's eyes though. Mosley will have been too old, Cotto already ruined by Cheato ect.........

 

He definatly should. If he beats Mosley and beats Cotto, then I'd put him up on ATG status.

Mosley just demolished AM. Oh yeah, AM was overated . A boxer here in ESB seem to be overated after a loss . And Mosley is the champ.

 

well, considering that a Cotto fight only happens if Cotto beats either Margarito in a re-match OR Pacquiao....

then I do feel Floyd will get full-cred for a win over Cotto.



Mosley however, as I detailed previously, he will never get any major cred for.
Therefore, it IS a bad fight in terms of risk/reward

 

He is still a great fighter (Mosley) but if Floyd beats him he'll be instantly shot!

From a hater's perspecive, even I would have to give Floyd his props if he beat Shane.

 

For all his mouth, Mayweather should fight Mosely. He would figure to be a pretty tough test. Shouldn't be too much for a guy who says he the best ever. Coming off his win over Margacheato , Shanes highly ranked and personally I'd love to see them fight.
But when a fighter starts to promote his own fights, he gets pretty picky about who he fights.

The Mosley fight should be happening right now. Floyd shouldn't even be looking at JMM - but since he is and PacMan is probably next - Shane wouldn't even get a chance until next year. The longer Floyd makes him wait - the better his chances are at making it an easy fight.

Damn shame that Mosley doesn't have a fight in the works.

 

Mosley had the chance to fight Mayweather when Mosley was on top and he ducked him....why are poeple giving Floyd **** for repaying the favour now that he's the bigger draw? what goes around comes around. I'll tell you this though, if Floyd beats Marquez then beats Pacquiao he will then fight the top welter weight whoever that may be at the time....maybe mosley maybe not.
