And don't want to see Mayweather ducking this once great but still capable fighter to pick on smaller fighters to pad his record.

Floyd should fight an elite welter. I don't really care which one.

Fighting Mosely would adversely affect Floyd's legacy as the best cherrypicker. He should instead fight Soto, Linares, Juanma Lopez, Darchinyan and Donaire in that order to preserve his unbeaten record. He should avoid Calderon because he runs faster than him!

Yes . . . Mosley has loses . . . but he came back to win a title at 147 and among the title holders he has the most established name . . . so **** the money excuse . . . if PBF doesn't fight the winner of Cotto/Clottey or Mosley . . . then he is a certified cherry picker. :deal

That would be a good fight. Mosley is confident and he is quick. I do not think Mayweather would take the fight. It would be a big risk to take on a bigger guy who is fast also who is strong. Mosley has a chance to win, but he better not wait too long to fight Mayweather or he will get old.

I am so sick and tired of Floyd thread when we are asking and having all these predictions but he has not even stepped on the weight scale in a year and a half. I will wait. Out of all the Floyd threads that have been posted I have yet to give a opinion on prediction on nothing about him. I will wait until July 18th because I am telling you Mayweather fans I believe you will be solely disappointed by his performance in July. He will have ring rust and as much as I hate the dude if he looks really bad and then ask for one more tune up fight before he moves on to the big dogs I would be cool and understand that. I do not expect a good performance from him in July.

    In short YES.
But do it before the end of 2010.
(& this is besides any possible "L's" inquired in-between)

Yes, he should do that, that would help him lose most of his critics.... Williams & Pavlik at 160 will likely be needed to lose the rest I would guess.

He don't need to go that far bro.. (Williams/Pavlik @ 160lbs)

I think most will be "Prop's" happy just to see Floyd step in
    w/Mosley, Cotto & Pacquaio. (win/lose)

What the hell does it matter whether Mosley brings a lot of fans to the table or not!!! Wasn't Gayweather saying he is the biggest draw in boxing, and that all the Gayweather fans on ESB are one in clamoring that he is the only life in the party? If he is such a draw then he needs not worry if his opponent's got any fans or not as long as he's got the title as the best WW, Anyway FMJ can generate another blockbuster even if it is only Shane as the opponent... Doesn't he??????????????????????????????????

like it or not mosely is stuck looking in from the outside as the huge fights are starting to bubble around him

mayweather will only fight mosely if some how jmm beats him

Cotto needs to win against clottey which is not a given and then maybe mosely has a fight in front of him that he might actually get

unless pac and his team **** on theselves when Floyd beats JMM by murder one on 7/18/2009 and they decide to fight cotto first and keep floyd waiting only to get KO by Cotto before hand setting up Floud versus Cotto finally!!!!

Oh i forgot.................... which would leave mosely out in the cold again.

It's almost not fair, Mosely is such an honest fighter and man and he always has to work twice as hard and wait twice as long as the next guy to obtain half as much.....boxing is a horrible tragedy yet we all love it, speaks volumes about human nature.
