Should Oscar have a rematch with Sturm?

I think he should retire.

 

I can't think of a single fight for Oscar that would make less sense than this, or that is less likely to happen.

 

the better question is should sturm have a rematch with oscar and unless odlh goes to germany. absolutely not. sturm learned his lesson.

 

lmfao hell no...oscar has no business at 160 as he has no business at 147..if he fights he needa fight at 154, fight tito, or retire...there's no big name opponents at 154 and tito wont come down to a fair catchweight so he should juss retire..

after losing what appeared to be nearly every round except, maybe, the first...why would an aging, slower, confidence-drained oscar de la hoya possibly want to fight sturm again. oscar lost a tremendous amount of credibility after the insane and criminal gift decision he got against sturm. it demonstrated to the public that oscar's goal was no longer to be the best by beating each man in front of him on even terms...it was to make 20 million dollars for taking a dive from a body shot to avoid real punishment to the head against bernard hopkins. but, hey, it's boxing, if you don't want to fight a guy because of the risks, don't take the fight...and if you do, you better have the respect for the centuries of gladiators before you to do carry the torch a little in there.

the lack of dignity of the whole charade, from the third matchup between hopkins and robert allen, to the jobbing of sturm by judges who stared blankly like mannequins at a fight and then penciling in what they were commanded to on the scorecards. an awful period for high profile boxing and an embarassment to the sport. what the hell could de la hoya gain by opening up that scab again...other than getting beaten up, worse, this time?

Oscar went from having countless options to having no options. He should sit down with Tito and discuss some things. This is what should happen:

May Card:
Delahoya vs Trinidad at 156lbs (Given they both win)
