Sure that’s why it’s called P4P. Because it’s about size and strength. But ultimately P4P is comparing people that are not on the same playing field. Lightweights are not as strong as Heavyweights because they are not the same size. Women are not as strong as men because they don’t have as much testosterone. But whatever the reason the two shouldn’t compete in the real world.

But midgets want to sleep well at night so they invent this P4P stuff because they want to be giants. Now someone says what about the fairies. Maybe the fairies can be part of the conversation as well. And the midgets go like nooooowaaayyyyy!!!!!

168lbs or are you really gonna argue that being obese suddenly improves every aspect of your game.

Point is he didn't get knocked out. And some actually argue he won the first fight. Though to be fair James Toney is in the upper echelon in terms of skill.

His record at heavyweight was something like 11-5 not bad for a super middleweight. Especially considering he was taking on the better heavies.

Sure why not. The concept of P4P is already a joke. They'd all get starched at heavyweight.

The pound for pound ratings are a "if they were the same size" thing not a skill thing. No problem putting women in the rankings but none of them would be in the top 500. I am not knocking the women but if all fighters of both sexes from the minimumweights to the heavies weighed 160 the women would not have the strength to compete.

Amanda Serrano is a fan friendly, blood and guts, enjoyable fighter to watch. She has talent and drive. Assuming her best weight is around 126 you can imagine matches for her with current featherweights. The chances are great she would not beat any of the top 100 men and would get knocked out by the high majority of them.

I hope you aren’t trying to be woke here.

Katie Taylor vs Gervonta Davis. Who wins at 135lb

I think historically people call it lbs for lbs because that’s how one group always has been separated from another group. But really what has been going on with P4P is what if we pretend one group is something they are not. Like let’s pretend a Lightweight would be a Heavyweight. So why not pretend what if this or that female fighter was a man?

Not trying to be woke at all. But then why not so away with all weight classes as well and just have one open weight class. And no more male or female Boxing either. Everyone goes into one league and that’s it.

Most 108 lb male fighters would handle Taylor and Serrano with ease. Both on the same night.

Women can have their own P4P list.
