I disagree, and Pac's comp as of late hasn't been great. All Calzaghe has is Kessler, and how has Cotto fought better comp than Floyd?

This guy won a title at 154 w/ a tremendous weight disadvantage ... I know that Oscar was well around 160 fight night and Floyd actually lost weight and went down unoffically to 147.

    You can't compare ...

Pac has yet to beat a fighter in the prime of their career ... Floyd has did it a numerous amount of times. He will do it again should Cotto get to Floyd.

It is arguable that Cotto has beaten better fighters at WW, including Floyds win over Oscar.

But I think that Floyd is obviously number 1.

    1. Mayweather
    2. Calzaghe
    3. Juan M. Marquez
    4. Pacquiao
    5. Hopkins
    6. Cotto
    7. Hatton
    8. Vasquez
    9. Rafael Marquez
    10. Pavlik

I think now Marquez should face Guzman and the winner gets Pacquiao.

I don't understand how you can say that Cotto has fought better competition that Floyd ... He fought Oktay Urkal, Shane Mosley (a 36yr old - past his prime), and Judah (who lost to Floyd the fight before)

How does that compare to Baldomir (legit WW champ) DLH (SWW champ and a legend in his own right and they fought at 154) man people thought that DLH would knock Floyd out being at that weight. Hatton (undefeated JWW champ) and Judah (who was alot better when they fought than he was when he fought Floyd) the blue print was already set once he Cotto.

There is no comparison ... Baldo beats Quintana and Urkal ...

DLH and Mosley cancel each other out ...

That leaves Hatton who was the man when all 3 reigned at 140

Last night only confirmed what I already knew, and that is the proposed match between Mayweather and Pacquiao is not a good idea for Pacquiao and he is not on Mayweather's level.

PBF beats the **** out of Urkal, Quintana, and Mosley in better fashion than Cotto.

I never heard of Floyd fighting for a vacant and a fight w/ any of those guys is out of the question because they don't have enough clout.

So the competition isn't better ... you can argue because you don't like Floyd or you just don't want to see him on top but you can't dispute that the level of his competitors have been high.

PBF beats everyone on Cotto's resume w/ ease.

People would be mad as hell at Floyd for taking a fight w/ Urkal or Quintana or Malignaggi

It would be a great fight for Pac. He would get his ass kicked, but he would get a huge payday.

A fight w/ Hatton and Cotto goes the distance ... w/ Hatton possibly getting a nod on one of the cards.

He cuts Cotto up and bangs real good with him on the inside ...

If Calzaghe beats Hopkins he leaps Pacquiao easily ...

I'm not talking in terms of paydays though....I am talking in terms of his chances of winning or losing, especially in relation to what a few of his fans think.
