Should Pacquiao take it easy on Marquez?

Pacquiao already destroyed Marquez twice and it scared Mayweather away. If Pac takes it easy this time on Marquez I think it will lure Mayweather into thinking Pac is shot and to finally accepting the fight. Any one else agree?

enough with the extreme ******* comments, how did he destroy marquez? he had 2 close wars with him, mayweather shoudlnt be on his mind at all, just knock marquez out and look ahead after that.

Marquez went the distance with Mayweather. If Pacquiao knocks him out in 2 rounds like hes capable of theres no way Mayweather will want to fight!

Nobody on this forum believes that Manny "Destroyed" Marquez, those fights were close, both of them.

    Agreed!!!

Seriously, some of these comments are just utterly silly.

What are these dudes going to do when Pac loses, and lose badly?

Learn from your overload 'Tards and have some humility.

Pac and Floyd beating JMM at catchweights means absolutley nothing to real boxing fans.

Floyd should never have made him come upto WW and floyd should have weighed in at 144lbs like marquez did.

Pac should have fought JMM years ago.

I can't comprehend how people think the fights were close. Pac knocked marquez down four times and jmm couldn't even wobble him. People will be surprised at the outcome of this fight if Pacs goes full force

Pacquiao destroyed JMM:lol:? The first fight could've gone either way(I had it for Pacquiao by a point) and Pacquiao got whooped in the rematch. If he doesn't ko Marquez in their third fight in a devastating fashion then he should hold his head down in shame.

He did...twice. How many times do u need to fight a guy? Their styles mesh perfectly, if they fought 10 times, they'd have 10 close fights. Pac had bigger fish to fry, he moved on and became the world wide mega star he is today. No offense jmm, but beating marquez another time wasn't gonna do sh!t for him in the big picture. He pushed all his chips to the center by moving up to 147, and bro cashed out BIG TIME on that play. Mans game...

I agree with u some what but all that "real boxing fans" crap is a joke. Look I watch all kinds of fights, it's not a "legacy contest" it's a boxing match. Will pac ko'ing jmm improve his legacy, not in my eyes. Did floyds win over jmm do squat for his resume, of course not. But I watched the floyd fight ( it sucked ) and I'm gonna watch this one. Maybe jmm pulls off an upset. Maybe jmm gets stopped for the first time in his career. My point is it's an interesting fight, jmm has looked good in his last few fights, let's see what happens. No one has a monopoly on what "real boxing fans" should watch or think. It's subjective. Not every match is gonna be a career defining fight, some match ups don't do sh!t for ur legacy, but I'm not watching it for "legacy" I'm watching it for "entertainment" and all I know is u get jmm, and manny pac in a ring together, u get entertainment.
