    I honestly did not score the Cotto/Clottey fight. Yes Ortiz is a welterweight champion. He beat Berto for the WBC championship in a fight with the limit being 147 Lbs.

    Pac vs. Cotto @ 145

    Berto vs. Ortiz @ 147

    Using your logic, Pac isn't really a WW champ either because he won the belt from Cotto who was handed it after getting spanked by margo.

    it was just a question, but you got the point. Berto, who won a vacant WW belt, is no more a WW champion than Pac. If Ortiz is considered a legit WW champion by virtue of his win against Berto, then the other poster who I addressed the question to should also consider Pac a legit WW champion.
