Yeah it should happen. First round KOs don't necessarily seal the deal. One of the best series' of fights was started by a first round KO:

Pongsaklek Wonjongkam VS Daisuke Naito who are 2-1-1

Or are these fighters to obscure for you "boxing" fans?

And I hate to cosign on Barboni's earlier post...

But Margo nutticks try to put Williams in the ring with everyone from Abraham to Pavlik to Vernon to Santos to Dizzy to Clottey and everyone else on the planet - EXCEPT MARGARITO.

-Not saying you are necessarily one of those people, but he has a point. I have yet to read a true Margarito fan on here say that Margo should go ahead and fight Williams next. The same people who say he could easily KTFO PW, and that he slaps with is gloves and never even hurt Margo, and that all Margo has to do is start earlier.

WTF does this have to do with Margarito? I would love see Margarito fight PW next but since it's not going to happen (With Margo booked 2 fights in advance) I would also like PW to be fighting someone.

It's called youtube. Try it out!

Hey son... This kinda **** been going on long before Margo signed with Shane. The excuse was "He needs to take a year off" and "He deserves a big payday now" and **** like that.

Face it. Margo-bitches want P in the ring with anyone they think can beat him so he won't continue to be a thorn in Margarito's side.

Makes sense... but it's done. The fights are sealed and ready to go. We can't talk about what PW will be doing in the meantime?

i just went back and watched the fight again. All this talk that the fight started like it was the 13 round is just not right. He got caught a couple of times but he gave back what he took. That knock out was difinitive and concise.

So what, what does that mean. He was the Welterweight champ first and he would have stayed in the division if he could have gotten a decent fight id imagine. Im sure he would have much rather taken a fight against a marketable welterweight as oppose to andy kolle and verno phillips, fact is he couldnt. I wanna see him at Welterweight, if he can comfortably make the weight I think he should.

No cause Williams made his point in the second fight that the first fight was a fluke

Unfortunately for Qunitana he got obliterated in the rematch so their is no demand for a rubber match. If PTP continues to struggle to find opponents then I'm all for seeing Williams/Quintana3 just so PTP can finish this guy off and quite all the critics who say the ko was lucky.

Flukes alittle strong dont ya think. Quintana defeated him clearly that night no problem 10 rounds to 2.

    LUCK

LUCK. Getting Lucky for twelve rounds and winning a nice decision.
LUCK. Getting Lucky in round one by landing a punch right on the button.

I have to wonder what you would be saying had Williams won the decision and Quintana the KO win.

I think if LUCK played a role in these two fights, it was moreso landing the perfect punch in round one, considering that it hasn't been williams specialty.

I don't think either fight was luck. I think Paul took Carlos lightly, and came in sluggish. Next fight - Not so much. Again, Carlos himself never asked for the rubber match. He don't want none.
