Keep in mind, these injuries have kept Kelly at bay. He still has the killer instinct, which is why he is fighting in Dec. He said he would rather lose his belts in the ring, than be stripped of the titles. Look for a big match up in the spring.
He's been training in Vegas for the last couple of weeks.

Calzaghe was never recognised as the man in the division, because he/his management were content to allow other champions in the division - and no lineage was established.

Pavlik is the linear champion and holds two straps - has defended both against mandatory contenders, but this voluntary defence is against a guy that wouldn't be in any consensus top 15 of the division - which says a lot, as 160 is currently awful.

I'm surprised he hasn't had his silverware taken actually, but hey-ho, Williams will see to that, if and when Pavlik mans up.

Not like staph infections don't kill people or anything...

Man boxing is the only sport where the fans act like the participants are animals not humans.

No he has beaten all of his mandatories despite set backs so there is no reason to strip him.

i'm not questioning the lineage. that cannot be taken away, but briggs never held the ring belt.
