the only thing his trainer ever tells him is "throw a double jab". same thing in the hopkins fight. it's like jack leow thinks the double jab is just some kind of unstoppable secret weapon or some ****

but, i guess he tells him that because if you take pav's jab away he's pretty much done. he hides the right behind that jab & without it he really can't get going.

This is clearly stating that Kelly Pavlik is nowhere near being middleweight champion of the world.

True Champions find ways to win while against the ODDS...............in this case Martinez.

Kelly Pavlik SHOULD exercise the REMATCH CLAUSE because he has no other choice if he wants to remain a contender.

Sadly, His people know what you are saying isn't true or they aren't confident about it. They stayed at 160 because kelly has a strength advantage, and naturally has a big bone stucture for 160. He will have to rely on skill at 168 because the guys are bigger and his people know any fight he can lose. I think Kessler would KO pavlik, I'm not sure about abraham or froch but I know pavlik wouldn't have the bone structure advantage against any of the top 8 fighters at 168.

Don't forget boxing is a business.....He could probably make more money by moving up to 168.......If he takes another L to Martinez, that could be a carear killer...

Trying to get him killed? I would have thought those of you who didn't realize Kelly is all about power alone would at least realize it now, putting two and two together with tonight's loss and the Hopkins loss.

I'm curious as to what advantage you foolishly believe he has against Crotch, Kess, and AA?? All three of those guys *easily* beat him. AA wins by KO 100 percent. Crotch, 99.2% and Kessler 95.7% I'd gladly do a three fight "specific outcome" parlay on all three fights ending with Kelly on the canvas for the count.

  7. That's not accurate at all. Jack was actually giving him good advice tonight. You must've missed it.

you don't know WTF you are talking about. KP has never been KTFO. those guys are all straight up fighters and provide a much easier style for pav. AA will walk right to him just like he likes. martinez is absolutely NOTHING like any of those fighters. just because martinez beat him doesn't mean those guys can.

I agree to a point. Your trainer has to know what your strengths and weakness are and know how your fighter can counter WITHIN those abilities. Athleticism does make up for some things, but your trainer SHOULD know how to counter those moves with the abilities your guy has. Most of the time, there is a counter to any strategy, some is Kelly fault, some isn't. Jack Lowe needs to go and Bob "The cut man" does too.

i feel the same way ... i think he can KO and demolish Abraham and Kessler, a fight with Froch would be a hell of a fight that could go either way ....

But Dirrell and Ward would schooled him even worst than Martinez Did, and the outcoming would not be an UD.....
