I have my doubts that he can reasonably make 160lbs much longer...

    Another year tops at 160...

He should consider HGH, steroids and possibly EPO before making his jump in weight. A quick trip to the Philippines coud change his entire career..:nut

Clean out best available and MW(sturm, Gevor, PW, Winky) then move up.

I say 2011 or 2012 is a good time I would him to fight in this order....

    # 1 Allan Green
    # 2 Carl Froch
    # 3 Arthur Abraham
    # 4 Lucian Bute
    :deal

Kelly could not top what Bute did to Andrede and if Andrede give a tough fight after Bute blasted out it would not look good. Green is a better test the waters fight in which Kelly could look like a killer:bbb

That's the problem when I talk about 'shake out'. Green may end up in the tourney after all. The first three could still come out as 'also rans'. Let's say Dirrell and Ward end up in the finals then who cares about 1-3 on that list at that point. Just way to many variables and not enough guaranteed fights available at 168 right now. Let's say he moves up and just crushes Bute in one round at 168. Not much left until the tourney is over, and even then, they will have eliminated 2/3's of the field from viable contention.

If he goes to 168, that division would be even more loaded than 140.

140 is highly overrated. Who is really that good except Bradley.

Alexander hasn't really impressed me at all and Kahn has fought nobody.

I think even if lose in terms of style and action and Kelly doing well vs them Green ,Froch, Abraham and Bute are good fights for Pavlik if these men even lose super 6 to Ward which think will. I would not like Pavlik to fight Ward I think it's a bad style match for Kelly:deal

Stay as long as he can still make the weight. He's had way too much time off. I'm ready to see if Pav can get back to old form pre-Hop. There's quite a few good matchups at 160 and I'd favor him in any of them. At 168 that changes a bit, because the size and talent pool is a lot bigger. So stay at middle, hone his skills, gradually let his body fill out for 168. When he makes that jump I'd like him to get a good nutritionist and or a strength and conditioning coach.

He looked like trash and almost lost to Taylor at 166. Forget about how he looked at 170. He should stay at 160, everyone in the Super 6 beats him at 168 except for Taylor and I wouldn't even count Taylor out due to how close their rematch at 166 was. Bute beats Pavlik too. Green and Miranda might be the only top fighters Pavlik can beat at 168.

Stay at middleweight for at least one or two more fights and then move the **** up.
