Should Poland start using Black fighters to represent their country?

    Dear Friends
    kind regards
Apparently there is a group of Poles on ESB who seem to think that David Haye and Lennox Lewis are not British due to their Black heritage.
Now I believe in free speech and the Poles are entitled to their opinion.
However, did Andrew Golota (an ethnic Polish fighter) do for Poland what Black heavyweights did for Britain and America?
I think that we can safely say that Andrew Golota failed as a legitimate Heavyweight and the record books will show that to be true.
I think that it is time that the Poles start accepting Black sportsmen to represent their country as a result of Golota's failings.
Who agrees with me on this?
If you could give me your views and contribute to the polls I'd appreciate it.
    yours thankfully
    John

You can represent X country if you're born there. If there is a Black Polska, sure he can fight for Polska.

The British are ahead of the polls according to the Poles themselves.
He is the match where the British imported Jamaican Lennox Lewis defeated the ethnic Pole Andrew Golota in round 1.

The Poles need to start accepting ethnic Jamaicans and Africans in Poland to prevent their nation from being shamed like this ever again.

    No, I disagree.
I believe that Poland should continue to let Jews represent their country, and Israel and Russia as well. Jews have been representing these countries for 100s of years and have been doing a damn good job. Why stop now just because they are the worst at actually playing sports. Somebodys got to buy the tickets, fill the seats, write commentary, and run the networks.

Haha.. Boxing is nationally/ethically oriented sport but I don't care very much for that side of it. However, if anything, it really is ethnicity that excites me far more than nationality in match ups. And in an ethnic sense Lewis is, of course, not a Brit.

I don't crave for black Polish fighters, I think it's good as it is. Ethnic Poles are talented enough. As for the best representation, Adamek does the best job so far.

I pretty much agree that the following Golota has gets over the line sometimes though. He failed a lot of times..

PS: I see Poles as a whole annoy you a bit lately, John. But I remember when you were a Golota serious fan, maybe bigger than myself ;) Maybe your view on Andrew will setle down in while and you will stop going through extremes.

    Yours thankfully
