Povetkin has been the mandatory for what seems like foreaver now. Wilder will be out until March, and then probably ask for a tune up.

Povetkin is totally cleared of the juicing accusations--he should have been in the first place. Most of the posters here knew enough about the science to know that the minute amounts of the substance found in his system could have been stored in his fat cells since January, AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WADA FOUND.

The WBC should have known this. The entire thing was just a fraud to protect their manufactured, company champion.

Povetkin should be allowed to fight Stiverne for an interim belt. He will undoubtedly KO the fat **** in two rounds, embarrassing Wilder and drawing a sharp contrast.

    Agree?

    Here's how I see it.

If Povetkin had JUST become the mandatory, I'd agree that Wilder and the WBC deserve a break and that Sasha can wait.

But the fact is he's been mandatory since Noah got off the ark, and he's pushing, what, 37? Time to quit stuffing him around.

I'd say that following the right thing to do is for Povetkin to challenge for an interim belt, fight whoever the WBC deems worthy and then the winner of that fight is bound to face Wilder whenever he chooses to face them. That way Wilder can fight 50 bums if he wants to and Povetkin gets his long-awaited chance.

It's no good for the WBC belt, arguably the most prestigious belt in boxing, to be on ice for a year + a tun e up.

According to Wilder fanboys he should be allowed to fight voluntary after voluntary(weak ones at that) and the division needs to come to a screeching halt when he's out with injury.

I for one would like wilder to keep fighting voluntary guys like Areola. This is history in the making, how do you not see that? Years from now people will say our generation got to witness the blatant t disregard for rules and guidelines as a man considered a wbc champion made a string of 20 voluntary defences in a row. It's like the Bhop's record, only with no hopers and has beens

    Hell no!!!!

He cheated blatantly, he should serve a reasonably long suspension then come fight for the title when he's completely off that JUICE

What Ryasinsky should do is give Wilder much more $ to entice him

Once Wilder pays Rybansky the $34 million, Rybansky can be generous and give Wilder $10,000 back.
